BAPM 2010 - San Francisco Bay Area Prototype Modelers Meet

BAPM is back by popular demand! Bring your models, finished or, better yet, still in progress! Bring your friends! There is no judging or contest. Instead, RPM events provide an opportunity to meet with fellow modelers, discuss tips and learn new techniques, and of course enjoy viewing lots of superb models!

All scales, eras, and roads are welcome!

To keep costs and admission fees lower (just $10 admission), BAPM 2010 is focused on the display and viewing of models.

But there's MORE! - Slideshows, Clinics and Awesome Raffle Prizes!

Slideshow/Clinic topics TBD, but it'll be good! =)

We will also host the traditional bountiful BAPM Prize Raffle featuring great prizes from major model railroad manufacturers and local hobby shops!

Last year's raffle was EPIC!!

Great news. I will make sure that weekend is free for a roadtrip to Richmond. Hopefully I will have a few more projects done(ish) by then...
Really enjoyed last year as it was the first my friend Dave Carr and I had attended.

Allright, just a few days before my birthday, again!
Time for everyone (myself included) to get to work finishing those projects that have been sitting on the workbench for months (or years).
I missed it last year, but will make sure to be around for this one.

Hey Mike,

Don't stress.. Bring your in-progress models too! The point of RPM meets is to share your current modeling and learn techniques and construction details from fellow modelers. In-progress models are often the most interesting. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Keep us posted as we get close Harry (I know you will). I want set up a little road trip and attend this year, but can't guarantee a spot that far out in advance yet. I may be able to tie in the BAPM with the start of my annual Montana road trip, hmmm....

Great to see the date confirmed for 2010! There should a least 2 attendees from the UK now as me and a friend are planning to take in the event as part of a railfan vacation. If we have some room in our baggage we may even have a couple example of US modeling from the 'other side of the pond'
