Model Railroading > NTS Milwaukee PhotosDate: 07/16/10 07:40 NTS Milwaukee Photos Author: glendale I've been at the NTS since about 8 and thought I'd grab some pictures for those who can't be here. I haven't seen too much announced just yet, but there have been a lot of pre-production samples.
Athearn has: SD70ACe in full paint in UP, BNSF, KCS, and the MoPac unit. The units were pre-production dummies. Intermountain had: A pre-production sample of the GEVo in CP. I think these looked really, really good. It had some good weight too it as well. Broadway had: The Centipeedes in every roadname, they were very impressive. SP GS4 4449. This looked worth the wait. Atlas had: Gensets GP40-2w Coil car Walthers had: More of the UP yet to be released city cars. A full mock-up of the Sante Fe Passenger station, I believe they're going to announce this (I didn't speak with anyone). PRR undecs Tangent: They're posts are a few down and include pictures. The UP coal cars are impressive, and are competitively priced. More pictures to come Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 07/16/10 13:15 by glendale. Tangent posted two of their announcements on this forum last night and this morning. See a few posts below for details and photos.

The latter would make more sense because Athearn could use the existing Turbine drive and sell it for two railroads, albeit with minor detail changes for the Espee version. — Keith Thompson Date: 07/16/10 09:47 Re: NTS Milwaukee Photos Author: JoppaSub Wow...glad to see the Athearn Genesis MP SD70ACE...Well...that settles it...I'm getting MP 1982.

Thanks Fred Date: 07/16/10 11:49 Re: NTS Milwaukee Photos Author: UPJeff There is our newly announced DS1436-8 speaker. It is a box speaker, 8 ohm that measures 14mm x 36mm x 10mm. Getting good response from the sample we brought.
