My hobby: building and operating a 1/2 inch to the foot scale interurban line in the basement.
The hobby from my hobby: N scale interurban and freight operation on a small plug in and play layout. No overhead wire, no scratch-building, no work, just fun.

1. The 16 inch x 48 inch layout using Tomix track and turnouts at a recent East Penn Traction Club event in Bryn Mawr, PA.
2. The layout attached to other Tomix track sections to make a bigger layout at the same event.
3. The layout in its place at home on a shelf over the desk in my office/library.

very cool! The hobby at its core!

Nothing wrong with that to be sure, but your 1/2" scale models are way cooler, in my opinion.

Can I see more pictures of the 1/2" scale models, especially that one that looks like Lake Erie and Northern?
