That was the Detroit to Chicago "Iron Hiway" project that never got off the ground so to speak.

Notice the reporting marks on the lead car. That is a ramp that dropped down.
I was told the concept was to compete with semi traffic between those points and into Canada.

Stupid me had the wrong time,it is 17:43 and I am talking about the engine terminal.
