I just heard that John Parker of San Juan Car Company has passed away, this was on their web site in the blog section.

Folks, we are sad to have to report that our founder, John Parker, passed away at 11:38 PM Thursday, October 20.

We’ll have more information soon, but for now the family asks that instead of flowers, if you’re so inclined, send a donation to the American Cancer Society.

John has made arrangements for San Juan Car Company to continue in operation, but we ask your patience during this difficult time. Right now, Sonja and the family need their privacy."
