Vic Shattock , President & Founder, Golden Gate Live Steamers,Inc. (right) presents an "Honorary Membership" card to Mr. E.D. Moody (center), Asst. General Manager, Southern Pacific Company (circa-1950) as Mr. O.M. Barlow (left), SP Western Division, Division Engineer, looks on.
Mr. Moody and other SP Brass always enjoyed a visit to Vic's basement in Oakland, CA as well as the club's track in Redwood Regional Park in Oakland. Mr. Moody in particular, also enjoyed several opportunities to operate one of Vic's many SP locomotives.

All of this congeniality and friendship paid off in the long run.
