What is the current hobby shop status in Spokane?

Are there any model RR clubs?

Sunset Trains is the Hobby Shop to go to. There are at least three HO scale clubs in town. River City Modelers just down Sprague Ave from the hobby shop, INSHOME, a modular group at the U City Mall, and Evergreen Railroad Modelers out in greenacres. The people at the hobby shop can direct you to the clubs.

I visited Sunset Junction hobby shop last summer while on a road trip to Canada;

Smaller selection, but the owner was very helpful and friendly. He aslo gave me a discount off of what was the posted price.

Based on the amount of older men just "hanging out", it struck me as a place where the regulars just hanged out for a bit.
