Athearn Canadian GP9's
Author: rschonfelder

Athearn's latest announcement at Calgary. Seems to be CP and CN. Hopefully there will be NAR someday.

I'll just be happy if I don't have to cut a headlight into the nose (ditchlights would be nice too).

I'm not sure that I understand the comment. All of the proposed models are high nosed GP9s.

The subject line specifically says "Athearn" and not "Intermountain". :)

Athearn reps said NAR will come in a future run.

Even better would be an Algoma Central GP9 or 2 (the ACR had only two of them, the 171 and 172). The 172 was the last GP9 ever built, in August of 1963.
