Southwestern Live Steamers had a meet this past weekend near Fort Worth, TX

1. Trainorders.com member TomSTP get authority to move down the track, on
a new 2-8-2 belonging to a Texan from Amarillo who recently purchased
it from a guy in Penn.

2. Old meets new - my Cotton Belt ten-wheeler #669 at the depot vs. a BNSF
employee's dash 9 loke

3. T&P switcher in the most loved swamp holly orange & black scheme

4. A tea kettle wobbles down the track - narrow gauge 2.5" allows for better seating than 1.5" standard gauge

5. Track worker uses a period car rather than the usual Gator to inspect a switch

6. The Erie Mike again - love that CB&Q caboose !

7. Black Widow F's are awesome. D.C. gets radio message from dispatcher to hold at this siding for a meet.

8. Old vs. new again - F's meeting my St.L.S-W #669

9. My train in the hole as MKT #575 passes by. I scratch built the hopper and tank car behind my 4-6-0.

These are just a few of the trains that ran over the weekend. There were other Trainorders.com members
there as well, and maybe we will get lucky and see their photographic work.

Looks like you guys had great weather in Texas over the weekend. Weather in west central Missouri was great over weekend for working on my railroad empire but now we have snow and a freeze projected. Next week is run day at Gail Gish's -- hope weather is good.
