Model Railroading > RS-1325Date: 04/14/14 17:10 RS-1325 Author: icancmp193 I have been casually looking for an HO EMD RS-1325 for some time, but I never expected to find one like this!

I actually have one, but these KMT locos are notoriously noisy and bad runners. Mine is waiting for me to get up the ambition to cobble up a new drive out of an Athearn SW1500 and some NWSL parts. Installing DCC on the factory drive would be a challenge at best. NZ Date: 04/14/14 17:30 Re: RS-1325 Author: fbe The best start is a P2K GP20 shell and an SW1200 shell. Probably stretch an Athearn SW1500 chassis and use the Athearn flexicoil B truck sideframes.

I saw one once in my Illinois days, but alas had an "accident" with that roll of film. And incredibly, at least one is still in service the last time I checked. Ed Stewart Jacksonville, FL Date: 04/15/14 05:08 Re: RS-1325 Author: trainboy03 IMRR 30 and 31 have been in regular service for quite some time. Unfortunately IMRR 30 suffered a slow speed derailment where it laid over on its side on 3/28/14. The damage was minor and is expected to be repaired. Both have new electronics and are favorites on the railroad.
