In this series we step back to 1967 as the S.P. 7805 east prepares to leave town in charge of a mixed manifest freight with some headend Reefer business. Back then, it was not un-common for the Espee to make-up motive power consists with whatever units were next out on the Engine ready tracks and the 7805 east is no exception. to cross over at Mainline tower and hook up to their westbound train. L&N 1405 C628, a pooled unit in from the southern states, will be on the point! We'll have to chase this one! The first Cab is a brass Balboa model I painted up years ago while the last Cab is a blue box Athearn I spruced up some and applied the orange to the bays. And Thanks to everyone!
