For the Details West car you can Louisiana Pacific, they loaded siding out of Missoula as did some of their all door cars. The cars had the pale yellow body with orange and boxcar red lower body stripes.

There are those TOMCO. center beam flat cars built on 1940's era straight sill flatcars which were the concept test for more modern welded versions. That becomes a scratchbash job.

There was also at least one acf style hopper with Montana Talc in bold letters which worked out of Sappington or Three Forks.

Thanks Al, didn't know about the Montana Talc car, but looks like a easy project with a Atlas Pressure Aide hopper. Just bought the decals..

I've been reluctant to include GP and LP cars because they are not based in the northwest. I probably should include a Simpson double door boxcar. Forgot to mention I have a Hi-cube 50' double door boxcar marked for Boise Cascade - Valley & Sieltz.

Believe the Simpson ( aka AMR cars) stay on the NWP
