Model Railroading > Intermountain modifies Chessie autorackDate: 04/19/14 04:46 Intermountain modifies Chessie autorack Author: toledopatch I guess I wasn't the only one who was unhappy with Intermountain's initial plan to issue a B&O/Chessie autorack on a "TTX" flat and let them know about it. OK, order pending:

Hopefully this will be the first run to feature them. Dave Date: 04/19/14 14:36 Re: Intermountain modifies Chessie autorack Author: toledopatch drolsen Wrote:

They commented that based on the prototype photos, the Chessie logos appears to be painted on panels that are both corrugated and perforated, i.e. standard side panels just like the rest, so it will be easy for them to replicate that on the Chessie model. I wasn't sure about the perforations (from looking at the photos on my phone), so I'm glad they caught that.
I really appreciate the quick response from Intermountain and their willingness to accept customer feedback and suggestions. Dave |
