Model Railroading > fueling padDate: 04/21/14 11:14 fueling pad Author: MWP I am planning on building a Nscale modern fueling pad. I'm looking at something you can see on the west end of Mandan ND on BNSF. Google maps can get me some pretty good pictures of the pad but I'm not sure how to post them here. If anyone knows where to get better photo or a diagram I would appreciate it. Also, can someone describe to me what each of the components is and does? Thanks for the help.

I will be doing a fuel pad in n scale also, when ever i actually start building a layout. I used google street view and I think that will be a cool prodject. When you finish post some pics.

In the lower right corner of that page is a fairly large album of prototype detail pics taken around the IAIS facility I modeled.
For more information about the function of the various components around such a facility, please see pages 2 and 3 of the Recent Progress sub-albums moving *backward* from the 8/30/2012 update album at http://www.iaisrailfans.org/gallery/Recent-progress?page=2 .
