Model Railroading > Walther's Cornerstone Union StationDate: 07/19/14 08:10 Walther's Cornerstone Union Station Author: willieboy64 I am trying to find some plans to follow to install this station in an "above the tracks" scenario. I have yet to purchase this kit and I recognize there may be such plans in the kit itself.
Can anyone confirm this or suggest a source of plans to set this station up 'above the tracks". Thanks very much ! Note: LAUPT added Tracks 17 & 18 recently. That station is based on the CB&Q station in Omaha, NE, which is elevated above the tracks.
The kit is compressed a bit with the wings a bit shorter than the original. Visited Omaha a few years ago and got a few photos. Hope they are of some help. Bob |
