Model Railroading > UP steam soundDate: 07/21/14 14:16 UP steam sound Author: grahamline Tsunami markets sound decoders for "heavy steam" and "light steam". Where would one of UP's Mk.6 MacArthur 2-8-2 engines fall in that spectrum? Halfway between a Challenger and an 0-6-0?
Date: 07/21/14 14:44 Re: UP steam sound Author: TomG They also make a Medium Steam. That's what myself and allot of other modelers use in our Mikes. The Heavy Steam is for larger steam engines, 4-8-4s through articulateds. But to me it seems the Mike falls between medium and heavy.
