And I am told by a good source in the Siemens Corporate office, that Kato is working on the model with Siemens cooperation.

Odd, this is usually the stuff Overland Models does in brass.

There are plastic E60's, HHP8's, and Acela's in N, and E60's, AEM7's, HHP8's, and Acela's in HO. Logical for ACS-64 to be treated the same.

And in this age of quality plastic models, who needs brass.....

For those who want a specific, accurate model? As only one of many examples, I haven't seen any CPR steam in plastic yet. Don't think I'm going to hold my breath waiting on it either. For those who want to save up and spend the money, there will always be a market for brass.

"For those who want to save up and spend the money, there will always be a market for brass." My piggy bank is filling up for brass as I type!

Let's not forget the high-quality GG-1s from both Bachmann and BLI/MTH, as well as Milwaukee Little Joes and BiPolars from MTH.
