If I was a betting man, these were supposed to be part of next months announcements, and were accidentally put it up this month..

Cat's out of the bag! Might as well start taking orders now. I know I'll be ordering them as soon as they're officially listed. Athearn, I'm just glad you're making the U.P. GP9B!!!

Still waiting for a Walthers GP30B ...

Though it seldom happened, it could be placed in with their "City of" Passenger series.

Yes heard from a local dealer that they weren't supposed to be announced until January. There starting a list for preorders but can't place the orders until January.

In that case a GP30B would be a better choice.

Agree, that would be interesting.

The train from Spokane to Portland had steam equipped GP30B's. Forget the name of the train but 'Union Pacific NW' by Jeff Asay had photo example.
