Model Railroading > Bachmann/Proto 2000 ?

Has anyone mated a Proto 2000 GP7 shell with a Bachmann GP7 frame? I have two P2K PRR 7's that I'd like to add sound to, and would like to keep their shells since I've added details to them including PRR trainphone antennae. I'm not crazy about Bachmann GP7 shells but do like their sound.
