BNSF Heritage Hopper Series: "Late GN"
Author: MrMRL

Folks, got another fantasy take on BNSF's heritage program for this week. A slightly different take on the late GN.

If you've been living under a rock the past couple months, here are the rest...

You can just about make up a complete train, does that make a dozen now?
Looking forward to seeing them on the layout!

Nice work!

For a little added fantasy go all out from ALL the predecesors! If you come up with a KCM&O (Orient) heritage scheme, I would love that for myself! =) btw, how many rr's would that entail? Could logo's be found for all the railroads that are no longer around?

The difficulty I discovered is in finding suitable logos of the preferred size ~ 5-6 scale feet across. The Colorado & Southern logo I located was part of an On3 decal set produced by San Juan Decals. The 3' diameter O scale logo was a near perfect size when applied to the smaller HO model. I have yet to find any suitable Fort Worth and Denver Railway "Denver Road" or Denver, South Park & Pacific RR logos...

How about the California Southern? Santa Fe subsidiary railroad in 1880's built from Barstow to San Diego. Wait, that is perfect as the club is California Southern.
