Model Railroading > Palm trees in Dunsmuir?Date: 09/20/14 19:13 Palm trees in Dunsmuir? Author: photobob Well at least on John Signors layout. John has been replacing his old palms with some new ones shown here around the Indio Station. We stopped in to see him this afternoon and he was hard at work cranking them out.

And maybe the outdoor temperature today was sort of like Indio too? Well done and well photographed, thanks. Date: 09/20/14 20:44 Re: Palm trees in Dunsmuir? Author: sphauler They look fantastic! Love to hear more information about them. Are they kits?

Those are Date Palms I believe. Really nice! Gary Date: 09/21/14 12:48 Re: Palm trees in Dunsmuir? Author: stampedej I've pretty much come to the conclusion that any project John does will turn out amazing!

If you're searching Google or Bing Maps and wondering where the old passenger depot was, look for a date palm or two, and a maybe a hint of foundation nearby.
This is Lathrop (Junction) on the UP, formerly the Southern Pacific, in North Central California. ~ BZ Date: 09/22/14 06:33 Re: Palm trees in Dunsmuir? Author: SPED Looks good!! You can't beet that train.............
