Model Railroading > Evening on the Hill

This evening I got upstairs to shoot some of the stuff I have running on the layout. A window on one end allows evening light to flow in which makes for some good lighting, being as my camera doesn't have manual settings. Currently there a Grand Trunk Western freight and a New York Central auto parts train running around (So most likely Michigan)

Here's some of the shots

1) GTW 9027 takes main 1 around the coach yard

2) NYC auto train passes the Quincy crossovers

3) 9027 is now stopped waiting on a train ahead

4) Same location as #3

5) And finally, the auto train encounters the hill as it rounds the east corner passing the GTW

I always find it unusual to hear or read that one goes "upstairs" to get to their layout ... good photos.
