A look back - SP 7905 east
Author: P5r24

While currently I've got the layout set-up for
My Union Pacific rolling stock,(more on that later)

looking through my photo selections I came across
these 3 views that I took earlier this year just
after I recieved my new Atlas U30C in UPS.

U Boat U30C 7905 along with a brace of U33Cs
have things well in hand as they assult the
stiff grade eastbound out of Hasson yard.

This hot train will be in northern California
early tomorrow morning before the end of its run.

Could be so many famous SP locations in CA or Oregon. The mind can really have fun with this one!

Hey Gary,
looks like I had the luck to take a shot of the same train, just many hours later and further West!

Once again, a great series of pics.

Cheers

I love the way the main tracks look like main tracks on a slightly higher grade with well maintained ballast than the secondary tracks in photo 3. The lightly used spur with dirt-covered ties running off to the left at the bottom has the look of no maintenance. And most of all, the graceful curves, placement of the turnouts and road all make this scene very appealing to the eye.
