Model Railroading > SP GS-1 (1/8 scale) at Hot August Nights

I just renewed my annual membership here on TO, so it only seems appropriate to post a little something today. The Sacramento Valley Live Steamers holds a special "Hot August Nights" run each year for members & their guests to come out and play choo-choo. By the time I arrived at the track, the big steam was on the way to the barn, so I only was able to capture stills of them. Photo 1 is of Don Youngling's GS-1; it is a remarkable model. Photo 2 is a Mikado that his father, Ed Youngling, has been finishing. For the remainder of the event, I shot video. It has finally been edited, and is here for your viewing pleasure. Outstanding video and thanks to your mother for suggesting the sound. So happy it wasn't trite banjo music that seemed to be in half of all railroad-themed videos.
