Author: warrenpweiss "It's blue sky and clear air so let's just relax and enjoy the scenery on the ride home", says conductor Biff McLaren. The crew of the Iverson local with the usual Baldwin AS-616 for power glides along the rails at 12 mph after an early finish to their day's work.

Warren Date: 10/19/14 17:24 Re: Oh, what a beautiful day! Author: WP282 Sweet pics. I hope to resurrect my garden railway soon. I didn't know anybody made a large scale AS616. Or is it scratch built?
Mike Date: 10/19/14 20:53 Re: Oh, what a beautiful day! Author: warrenpweiss Mike (WP282),
I built the AS-616 from scratch using mostly sheet metal, coat hangers and paper clips along with some of my own castings. Good luck getting your large scale trains revitalized. Warren |
