HO Scale Horn Help
Author: jburek

Can anyone tell me if someone makes the following horns in HO scale: Nathan P-2 R1, Nathan M-3 R1, Wabco A-6 & B-6. Details West, Detail Associates maybe. Any help much appreciated.

One option is the Details Assoc "build your own configuration" kit. Two horn brackets, 10 "bells" and diaphragms. Tedious due to the small parts but you can build any type of P1 thru P5 configuration you need.

The first one is a P-2 R1 - it has only 2 trumpets each facing opposite directions.

Custom Finishing has two trumpet horn kits in their line.
Might have to do a little mix and match but it should work!

Looks like Cal-Scale has the Nathan M-3 R-1. Cal-Scale is part of Bowser and can be found at http://www.bowser-trains.com/history/hocalscaledieselpg1.html. ~Mary in Whitefish,MT~

I second this option for making your own variety of the P style nathan horn. It is a little tedious, but the result is very nice. Should be part #AH1603.
