I've been resisting the coal presence on my layout until this weekend when I found a NS 100 ton 6 pack of quad hoppers at Deland, Fl., so I guess I can have a loaded and empty passing each other in front of the Ethanol plant, P.S. what KD's did you use on the engines?, TIA, Ed

Kadee #5's. I have about 45 CSX Beth Gons from different manufacturers. I mixed mine with silver and black since the prototype does this as well (and it makes it easier to amass a fleet). I had to ream out the axle pockets on the trucks to get all those cars to run smoothly and play well together. It made a HUGE difference and stopped the derailments on the curves.

Yes, same here. I've seen them at Waycross and Folkston (heading your way).
