Model Railroading > Union Pacific HK-70-1 Hopper CarsDate: 10/24/14 14:38 Union Pacific HK-70-1 Hopper Cars Author: turbine The Union Pacific Historical Society has released what is believed to be the most accurate plastic Hart Select Ballast Car so far. UPHS member Dick Harley went thru his records and drawings to ensure the lettering, numbering and paint color are as close to prototype as possible The Atlas Master Line cars are decorated in the 1954 paint scheme with individual grabs, knuckle style couplers and metal wheels. The 1954 cars come in three numbers, a 1955 paint scheme un-numbered and a 1969 paint scheme un-numbered are also available. The cars are available as single cars and in 3 packs and 6 packs on the website at uphs.org.
