Model Railroading > dcc and reverse loopsDate: 10/27/14 15:00 dcc and reverse loops Author: u34ch Starting a new pike I'm old school but want to go dcc.
what do U do about reverse loops? Date: 10/27/14 15:58 Re: dcc and reverse loops Author: ChrisCampi You wont have a problem. Just about every DCC system manufacture makes a small device that handles reverse loops for you. Some like CVP products even have that feature built into some of their boosters.
Chris Date: 10/27/14 16:01 Re: dcc and reverse loops Author: sphauler MRC makes an auto reverser.
Posted from Android Date: 10/27/14 16:45 Re: dcc and reverse loops Author: jobrazy There are several.
DCC Specialities is programmable Tam valley depot is also a dual frog juicer Digitrax is dead simple (AR-1) All three are on my layout, they all work good. It takes about 2 minutes to hook them up. Just make sure to separate you loop at both ends as close to the switch(es) as you can to get the largest section and avoid possible problems with consists. But the other brands do also work.

Rock solid reliable, good instructions for installation and programming. Mike Date: 10/28/14 09:03 Re: dcc and reverse loops Author: RGDave Me three for the PSX-AR!
~RGDave onondagacutoff.blogspot.com Date: 10/29/14 01:42 Re: dcc and reverse loops Author: jobrazy I use the psd-ar for a nested double reverse loop. It allows me to program the delay times for smoother transitions because the distance between the loops is the length of a #8 switch. It's the only solution that works well for the application.
For the standard reverse loop, the Tam Valley and Digiitrax products work perfectly. J Joel Brazy Coatesville, PA |
