Model Railroading > WP/GN Inside Gateway TrainsDate: 10/27/14 15:58 WP/GN Inside Gateway Trains Author: FiveChime Progress so far on my 1970 Inside Gateway trains.
Need a few more F's for the WP train and a few SP&S and GN units for the C636 demo powered train. HO photos at the Carquinez Model Railroad Society layout in Crockett, California. Regards, Jim Evans Date: 10/27/14 16:04 Re: WP/GN Inside Gateway Trains Author: ChrisCampi Jim, that first picture looks almost real:-) Those F's look good. Genesis?

The weathering on the units in the first photo is amazing. Also, the scenery is some of the best I have ever seen! ~Steve Date: 10/27/14 20:45 Re: WP/GN Inside Gateway Trains Author: pt199 That bridge in the background looks fabulous, I'd like to see more pictures of just that!

That looks like a rare Leslie S5D fivechime on the lead FP7 in the 2nd pic of the Genesis WP units :-) Do I see an SP&S C636 in your motive power fleet soon? Those Bruts had a look all to their own like the Demo units. Gary Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/28/14 09:19 by P5r24. Date: 10/29/14 11:26 Re: WP/GN Inside Gateway Trains Author: FiveChime 804-A and 805-D had prototype Leslie S5D horns. Only two of which are known to exsist today.
The S5D was Leslie's attempt to create the Nathan M5 sound. REgards, Jim Evans Date: 10/29/14 18:24 Re: WP/GN Inside Gateway Trains Author: FiveChime |
