N&W steam
Author: steam290

I finally have my railroad to the point where I can photograph a few select locations and have them look convincing. I mostly model N&W which is operating on jointly owned trackage with my home road, the Bluefield. Other than that, I have sever NYC steamers that sometimes make an appearance on a passenger train operating with trackage rights over the Bluefield/N&W line.

Enjoy some "classic" images of N&W steam:
#1 Class A 1238 comes through a deep cut near the Williams roundhouse.
#2 Class A 1238 with a reefer train, passes Y6b 2191 with a coal drag.
#3 Y6b 2191 rounds a horseshoe curve with a coal train in the West Virginia mountains.
