Theater Inspection Car HO
Author: train544

Hi Guys
I would like to see the Theater inspection passenger business or track geometry car with the big bay glass window in the back with
the inspection lights
This could be made for any road as all the railroads have the car
Especially B&O,Chessie,CSX

Hi there,
This will get you started if you'd like to build your own.

I'd doubt that we'll see any of these commercially produced as each one is different. It's one of those situations like Kato producing the business car that was right for one car and close to two more.

The #89 William Barstow Strong car is always showing up on the Bay, I have two. They were imported by Don Stewart, nice car.

So...assuming that one were silly enough to try to kit bash a theater inspection car (and one had the necessary part on order from a supplier)...what would be a reasonable starting point for the carcass? Keep in mind, that this particular neophyte kit basher considers a chain saw or a sawmill headrig as precision implements!

Anyone have an actual image of that theater conversion part from the Walthers site?

I haven't seen that particular car, but TSP also did the BN/BNSF full dome theater car that I've seen on here before. Maybe it was pmack that built the Glacier View?
