Model Railroading > Sunbeam, so brightDate: 02/28/15 14:30 Sunbeam, so bright Author: WrongWayMurphy The Sunbeam was the Texas version of the Daylight, albeit with
a P-14 Pacific type in charge instead of Daylight's 4-8-4 GS whatever. It ran a Dallas-Houston daily round trip. The named train especially bright and Sunbeamy when compared to the Katy's Pacific rolling by, about to couple up to her consist of the Texas Special. Lack of baggage/RPO due to bad coupler so we just yanked it so we could make the run. Also first photo, note building behind the P-14 with props given to the Great One. Funny I didn't notice at first, but homage paid to the Other Great One in pic 2 (the boxcar, if you can figure it out) Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 02/28/15 14:39 by WrongWayMurphy.
