Model Railroading > Your opinion ?Date: 03/04/15 14:53 Your opinion ? Author: WrongWayMurphy There is no right or wrong as this is a made-up road and paint scheme.
Do you like the black trucks or silver trucks on this pair of FT's? One of them will get painted over when final decision is made. And yes, I know there aren't horns on the A unit yet (nor some other details I will be adding soon). Date: 03/04/15 14:58 Re: Your opinion ? Author: DKay Silver trucks for me Shane

Date: 03/04/15 15:07 Re: Your opinion ? Author: kwo I'll vote for silver as well.
Kirk O. Date: 03/04/15 15:24 Re: Your opinion ? Author: BaylorMax Black. The color scheme looks like a freight unit. I think that the silver trucks clash with the drab paint above.
Steve Barkley Date: 03/04/15 15:38 Re: Your opinion ? Author: wjpyper Black. The silver look out of place with the rest of the colors.
Date: 03/04/15 15:48 Re: Your opinion ? Author: IronDuke I'd go with the silver and then use fairly heavy weathering with rail brown
or something near to that. the Ironduke Date: 03/04/15 16:17 Re: Your opinion ? Author: garr Black or what Ironduke said. Silver looks a little out of place with the scheme, sorta like a kid with new tennis shows.

Erwin from Austria Date: 03/04/15 16:37 Re: Your opinion ? Author: HomerBedloe Gotta go with black or dark grey, as well. I always thought the best looking freight railways had the dark colors - ATSF dark blue pinstripe, SP grey, WP dark green, Pennsy rust brown. So black or dark grey trucks just fit with the freight scheme...

Author: BruceStikkers Silver adds class to a loco. You could have both like UP that went from gray to silver and then back to gray which ment both were visible during the transition period.
