Atlas Gold Dash-8 DCC speeds

Would appreciate suggestions on which CVs= to change to increase the maximum speed. Slow speed operation is super slow, maximum well below what it should be.

Not much you can really do here. Check CV 5 and as long as it is at 255 there's not much else you can really do. You can always slow a locomotive down but not really speed them up.

You might try running it for an hour or so in each direction, it may just need some break-in time.
