Model Railroading > Soo Line Freelance Hy-RailerDate: 05/24/15 17:56 Soo Line Freelance Hy-Railer Author: icancmp193 Until they get some more new models released, I had one River Point Station Ford F-350 Pick-up left in-house and decided to make a Soo Line Hy-Railer using Highball Graphics decals, which by the way, are an excellent value. If you are making CN or CP (and subsidiaries) maintenance trucks, a set will make 20+ trucks! You may want to add some numbers and/or different striping from your decal box as I did.
I did my usual detailing of River Point toolboxes, Herpa driver figure, flasher beacon, industrial gas tanks, fire extinguisher and hand tools, plus scratchbuilt guideposts. A relatively light weathering job and Dullcote finish round out the job. For my next project, I am starting on a couple Classic Metal Works 1960 Ford pick-ups. I don't get a lot of modeling time, so this may take a while. Tom Y Date: 05/24/15 20:14 Re: Soo Line Freelance Hy-Railer Author: atsf5701 That's a nice looking rig.
