Model Railroading > Woodland Scenics fire truckDate: 05/27/15 11:15 Woodland Scenics fire truck Author: nygiant Wondering what make this model is? An early Mack or an International?
Date: 05/27/15 11:49 Re: Woodland Scenics fire truck Author: pilotblue It looks kind of generic. It reminds me of a Ford. Maybe around 1941. If it had a split windshield, I would lean more toward a Chevy.
Volunteer companies often bought cab/chassis from a truck dealer and then sent them to a fire truck body manufacturer for tank/pump/hose bed and cabinet work. Bruco in Pennsylvania comes to mind. I know there are a lot of other Firefighters here on TO. I am sure some one of us can nail it down. I'll do some digging in the meantime. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/27/15 11:54 by pilotblue. Close to Seagrave or Mack depending on how it looks to your eye.
