Model Railroading > DFW Hobby Shops?

It can be confusing trying to figure out which stores are still open and which are not by looking at the interweb. 

So can someone tell me what model RR hobby shops are active/open in the DFW area?

I will be driving from Houston to Saint Jo on Friday and thought I would hit as many of the shops as I can on the way through.

Discount Model Trains in Addison is still open. I believe it's on Ratliff lane or something similar. Used to go there often and still stop by when I'm in town. Wayne is a good guy and will help you out.

Are the following three stores still open?

Silver Spike Hobbies in Denton.
Iron Horse Hobbies in Lewisville.
Model Train Crosing in Hurst.

I agree, but I like to stop in the other stores and check out what they have in old stock.  I went to a small and old store in Houston last weekend and found something that they had sitting for so long the dust was thick on it.  I asked if they would take less than the sticker price since it was so old and the agreed.  The same item is still sold for more than what they had on the sticker.

Not sure on Lewisville or Hurst but I lived in Denton and last I knew Silver Spike was still open. That was two years ago though so YMMV.

Iron Horse in Lewisville was a great store, but is not more.

Solver Spike in Denton is still open but will probably be closed by years end - owner retiring

not sure about Hurst store
