Author: binder001 Personally I use a Kadee #26 (or its "whisker" equivalent) on the front to clear the pilot and a Kadee #158 regular "whisker" coupler on the rear and haven't had any problems. If you are one who trims off the coupler trip pins from your cars you could use a shorter coupler on the front pilot. I tend to accept the wide spacing between loco and first car and keep most of my trip pins.
