Rapido HO FL9's

Some of Rapido's HO FL9's are in. One of coolest releases I have ever seen. I wish I could work those New Havens into my layout!

Pictures from their Facebook page.

I am a Bulldog nut.  Other than the collectibility, I have absolutely no reason for buying one.  I hope everyone will go nuts over these and sell them out fast so I cannot weaken.  Besides, you Easterners need to send money to Markham so Jason can announce the RS-18.  I hope he doesn't become an "Ann Murray" and forget his Canadian roots.

I'm holding out for the ConnDOT version. My brother gave me some ConnDOT Bombardier commuter coaches as a gift a few years ago and I'll happily buy two FL9s in ConnDOT's version of "New Haven" to pull them.

Hi Rick,

I too do have absolutely no reason for buying one. But I Bulldog nut ordered one, and I Bulldog nut purchased 4 Osgood Bradley for which I have absolutely no reason for buying and which now are  waiting for the FL9.

And Bruce,

thanks for posting.

The easy answer, find a way to use the FL-9s and the RS18. I figured out how to use some GMD-1s for a planned CP Rail layout. Now what I can come up for how a couple RS18s and a Conn Dot FL-9 (in N scale, please) got lost in Saskatchewan in 1997 I don't know???

You might be able to use CP RS-18Us if Rapido does them. I think the last ones were retired in 1998. I don't know if there were any in Saskatchewan at that late of date or not.
