LCC
Author: HB90MACH

I was reason last night in the NMRA rag that new standards for LCC systems have been set. Wonder how long before the systems are in production. LCC. Is layout command control. It is a system for all the accessories now run by DCC. Which bogging down the data response time in DCC. So LCC was created to take over this accessories. It is for everything else that has a decoder that is not a locomotive. It will work in conjunction with DCC systems. LCC will have its own bus line and not clog the DCC bus line.

I talked to an LCC supported here at the national NMRA convention about availability of products and was told "Some manufactures are planning products and others and considering the possibility."   Back in the early days of conputers we called this "vaporware".
