Today when I hooked the ditch lights to my AT-1000 decoder and changed CV 50 to 41 and CV52 to 57 to have them flash when the horn blows the engineers side ditch light went out. Both lights will flash when the horn blows, but the engineers side light is dark when the lights are suppose to on steady. Any help from you folks would be greatly appreciated.

Try pressing F5, or F6.

What make/model of locomotive is this?  Does it have LEDs?  I had a similar problem recently when I replaced the factory Loksound in an Intermountain SD40-2 with a Tsunami IM1000.  The ditch lights initially worked until I altered CVs 33-35 and 57 for the lighting effects I wanted, and then one ditch light went out.  Pressing F5 and F6 didn't help in my case, and I eventually called Soundtraxx.  George walked me through a number of things that didn't seem to work, until finally he suggested setting CVs 51, 52, and 53 to 128 (turning on bit 7), which apparently enables LED support.  (I'm guessing you could also use any appropriate value greater than 128, turning on whatever other bits you need, as long as bit 7 is one of them.)  I don't know why that worked, because the IM LEDs worked fine before CVs 33-35 and 57 were changed, but it did.  I was very impressed with Soundtraxx's tech support department.

The ditch lights are bulbs not LEDs . This is an Atlas GP40-2 with LED headlight and rear light.

I contacted Soundtraxx about the light problem and Justin had me reset the decoder. Both ditch lights came on. Adjusted CV51 and 52 to 41 and 57 respectively. The ditch lights flashed when the horn button was pressed. Program engine from o3 to the engine number 6358 and every thing worked fine.
