How many of you have a brothel on your layout?

Almost all of us here have finished high school. We do have some great female members here.

Could I ask you politely to be a gentleman and just cool it?

If you model Nevada and have towns, you need a cathouse with a red light on it

Lighten up a bit.  It is a part of life and exists.  The guy merely asked a question.  If you do not like the topic, move on.

Thank you Rick. As a elder person, above 50, I only asked because most of the layouts I have seen (HO, S, O), in private or public have some form of "house of ill repute". Not trying to be childish.

Check out www.sundancecentral.org .This is a modular Fn3 layout ,that turns up at narrow gauge conventions from time to time. They have a fabulous  ""Cat House"" scene on the layout. You may find some pics of said ""house"" on their website.
I plan on having a similar scene on a small On3 layout I hope to build some day.Even have the kit ready to go.It is a Bar Mills kit called ""Wicked Wandas".It should fit the bill nicely.

Or depict a Police raid on a similar enterprise. The scene could have numerous people in a range of outfits in the street outside, plus a number of emergency vehicles with flashing lights. Not enough? Add a fire to one corner of the building, an attempt to destroy evidence. The smoke and fire trucks could be added to the scene, or enroute?

Lots of ways to spin this idea ....

Put it next to a pharmacy for good measure.

It is indeed part of the culture whether you like it or not.  Sometimes you even see the high class gentry around the premises!    Hmmmmm.....

Not only does "Miniatur Wunderland" in Hamburg have a house of ill repute, the huge layout also has a van a rockin' and a couple enjoying themselves out in a field!
Oh, lots of trains too!

I'll bet you are just a riot at parties.

For modern towns, BLMA has a nice billboard with "Gorgeous Gals Next Exit".  That tones it down a little.

In Olden Tymes olng past, there was such a facility adjacent to the eastbound home signal on the IHB at Blue Island Jct (IL), where trains would be held out of Blue Island yard for a while or so now and then.

Legal, red-light districts are often next to the train station in Europe.

Dusseldorf, the windows with women are facing the tracks near the station, so you can make your selection while the train is coming to a stop. Makes waiting for the next train fun.

Doesn't Preiser have a specialty figure set specifically for brothels?  I know I've seen pretty detailed scenes of such on European themed layouts.

I'm working on an Asian Massage Parlour for my layout. For those whose model period is "NOW". It will be the top floor over a Mom & Pop Grocery. Complete with Mamasan and girls getting arrested. They are part of just about any small city up to they biggest cities.
