The first appearance as stated by Bowser for the new motors are the upcoming HO CP SD40-2's.  So no, they do not have the new motors.

Has there been any information shared if the new motors would be backwards compatible with the existing C630Ms?  With the list of projects on the workbench growing, instead of shrinking - it sure would be nice to be able to just drop one in.  Got a few C630Ms that could really use the extra oomph.

Past threads have stated the 'new' motor is a new size, not the same dimensions as the motor everybody has complained about.
