Model Railroading > Which Wheat Bulbs Do I Need?Date: 02/04/16 15:27 Which Wheat Bulbs Do I Need? Author: philhoov I bought a quantity of wheat bulbs years ago that I've used to light the buildings on my layout.
Now, I need more and don't remember what I bought before or where I got them. I see (online) that there are various voltages offered. I'm powering them with an old Tyco Model 899-V transformer that has a rheostat control lever that works really well for adjusting the lighting. Because I'm brain dead stupid when it comes to electrical matters, I need some advice. I still have one of the old bulbs, but there's no indication of what it is. Can anyone give me some guidance?
