Model Railroading > Atlas U23B Union PacificDate: 02/08/16 12:52 Atlas U23B Union Pacific Author: Chestnut Here's an Atlas UP U23B i added some detail parts to and weathered. I picked up an identical unit with a different number I picked up both for really cheap at a train show. I added sunshades, firecracker antenna, 3 chime lesslie horn moved to the top of the cab, plow, MU lines, miror, Sergent Couplers, and chain going to the brake cylinder.
I used a black wash and lightly weathered the top with an airbrush. Thanks for looking! Matt Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 02/08/16 16:20 by Chestnut. Date: 02/08/16 12:55 Re: Atlas B23-7 Union Pacific Author: bnsfsd70 Looks nice!

Has it got sound? And if it does, how do you like it? Russ Date: 02/08/16 16:53 Re: Atlas B23-7 Union Pacific Author: Chestnut Hey Russ, yeah I'm not near my layout right now wanted to get pictures other than the workbench. This is an old early 2000 release with no sound. I thought about putting sound in it at one point. Thanks for the nice compliment!
Matt Date: 02/08/16 18:34 Re: Atlas B23-7 Union Pacific Author: cf7 Thanks for the reply Matt. When you get ready for sound try a ESU-Lok Sound with a mini speaker like the one
above your post in a RS-1. Russ |
