Model Railroading > SwitchstandsDate: 04/24/16 16:52 Switchstands Author: LarryDoyle Working switchstands, that is.
Obtainied a batch of G scale Sunset Valley lost wax + built up switchstand. These things are a work of art. I modified a few of them with a chevron target and added illuminated lanterns to stand-in for stands of my favorite road, the Milwaukee. Here, we see the operation of a couple of those modified switchstands. -John Stein You must be a registered subscriber to watch videos. Join Today! That is cool . . and your layout looks great . . the only issue is your hands are out scale . . . . :). Nice work. Craig http://mcmrailvideos.com/ Date: 04/25/16 01:34 Re: Switchstands Author: Hookdragkick Craig,
"Out of Scale". I'm sure that's what Jerry Seinfeld was thinking about during his date with the woman with man-hands. John, Way to spruce-up switches! I've always liked those high stands and yours "throw like butter". Date: 04/27/16 11:29 Re: Switchstands Author: rrman6 John, nice job here! Only thing, if I was a crewman in a loco and I saw a hand coming toward the tracks like that, I'd be for bailing from the cab in no time. "Hookdragkick" has it right...they throw like butter!
