Wheels of Time SP bulkhead flat cars. They left the wood boards off the bulkheads (seperate piece) in case you wanted that classic 80s SP look with just the steel bulkhead sans boards. Looks great, runs great. Perfect for your SP lumber trains out of OR or off the NWP

Did you order with Wheels of Time or from a Distributor?

Just estimating the damage to my visa card.

Thanks for the update!   I see my order is pending at Walthers.   I ordered extra for my store, but I think I may go for most.   hehe    These are a MUST for any 1970's-1990's SP modeler.

Is the deck cast with the body or is it a separate piece? Also, is the deck made of plastic or metal?

I saw one last Friday at the club in Napa, Calif.  W of T is in the Bay Area, so that makes sense.  One looked good, a dozen would look at least ten times better.

Its all one piece assembled, plastic deck. You need that weather the deck to make it look right. Its a grayish brown that doesn't look right. Only thing to add would be the bulkhead board piece. I like it without, more SPish of the 80s.

If you have the cars that the SPH&TS did, the smaller 52 foot bulkhead flats, these WofT go well together
