Model Railroading > Lego train set

A non-railfan, non-modeler friend of mine posted a widely-shared video of a somewhat remarkable Lego layout. Look up "trainguy 769." The indoor stuff is a bit normal, but the outdoor portions caught me by surprise. Those lego trains must be pretty rugged, once you see what it passes through! I had Lego as a kid and once made a CN cowl unit, but never used Lego track/trains if my memory is correct. The funny thing is looking at the prices of track, it really isn't that much cheaper than HO!
