Model Railroading > Just testing out my new oil tanks...Date: 05/18/16 02:55 Just testing out my new oil tanks... Author: MrMRL 33 HO scale Rivet Counter series tanks from ScaleTrains. Plus a pair of Tangent BNSF buffer service airslides. I Picked them up from my local shop Railmaster Hobbies on Tuesday afternoon, tested them out at the train club Tuesday night, right out of the box. With the recent downturn in domestic oil though, I guess I should park them on a long forgotten siding somewhere in western Montana now huh... NAH!
Snapped a couple iPhone panoramas to share. ~ Mr. MRL Date: 05/18/16 03:31 Re: Just testing out my new oil tanks... Author: spandfecerwin Is there a space between the engine and the train end?

Coal seems to be circling the drain but I can always model coal trains on the D&RGW during it's caboose era! That said, it is cool to be able to model trains that you can actually watch too; if only I could of have done that as well as we can now back in the 1970's. Great looking unit tank car train! It's just kinda hard finding any good spots to get the whole train in one shot without having to use a super zoom for compression. We also have another member in the club that has ordered 71 rivet counter tank cars. Thank you for supporting you LHS.
